Bishop Aaron is the Pastor of Faith Temple Church in East Orange New Jersey. Faith Temple New Hope Church (FTNH) founded by his father, Bishop Dr. Milton A. Hobbs is a community-based Pentecostal Apostolic Church that has served the surrounding community for more than 43 years. In the tradition of this ministry; Bishop Aaron is well known and widely respected by his peers in the ministry...

Born to Bishop Dr. Milton A. Hobbs and Shirley A. Hobbs as one of five children; he was reared in the church and grew up in the East Orange community. Being the product of Christian home training gave him the desire to help others. He was always a loving and giving person and grew in faith as a very personable young man. His father; the Bishop was the role model he aspired to emulate. He seriously gave his life to God 25 years ago and was filled with the Holy Ghost under Bishop William Abney in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He returned to his home church ready and able to serve the Lord and the people of God.

He studied under the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) and was ordained an Elder in the PAW shortly thereafter. After sitting under his father in ministry; he soon was blessed to travel and learn under the renowned Bishop T. D. Jakes. For about eight years; Bishop Aaron traveled all over the country with Bishop Jakes in his ministry as one of his aides. He learned a great deal during this time. He returned home again, this time to serve as Co-Pastor with his oldest brother Milton at FTNH. Bishop Aaron had matured in ministry and was instrumental in coordinating several outreach ministries at the church including a substance abuse ministry as well as other ministries that ministered to the broken and down-trodden in the community. He had a natural gift for street ministry and his way of relating to the common man. He also was adept at reaching the young people in the community and recruited many to join the church and give their lives to Christ.

On January 13, 2002; his father Bishop Hobbs passed the mantle of the church on to Bishop Aaron calling him his Joshua. A role he had been preparing him for, for many years. Bishop Aaron Hobbs officially became Pastor of FTNH church.

Since this time; FT Church has continued to grow and prosper. The congregation is working hard under his leadership to make repairs and renovations to the church property and a new spirit of revival is strong in the worship and praise. The Grace of God has fallen on the church and his Pastorship.

Still a young man; Bishop Aaron as he is affectionately called by his members continues to give his all to serve the Lord and to guide his sheep as God leads him. He is abundantly blessed. A true servant of God; he continues to be humbled by the blessings that he has received. He continues to be thankful to the Lord.

On November 17, 2007 Pastor Aaron was anointed by his father amongst the Faith Temple Church congregation and a host of family and friends as Bishop Aaron L. Hobbs in Orlando, Florida.
